Ok so making some more progress on the car. Got the front calipers and brackets off and cleaned up and painted. Also set the front rotors on the spindles. Here is a couple pics.

Clean calipers and brackets

Final result of the finished caliper. Will have better pics once the paint fully cures and I put them back on the car.

I also started tearing apart the motor to install the valve springs and cams. I picked up a 2003 grand marquis motor for the swap since it already has PI heads and Intake on it. Will have to swap over timing cover and oil pan as well but no big deal. Already had those parts laying around. Here is some pics of the motor when I got it and what all was taken off and the drivers side head ready for valve spring installation.

Ok so I made alot of progress over the long weekend thanks to some help from my friends. Also I think we made 20 different trips to the auto parts store this weekend picking up all the little things needed to make this happen or making second trips to get the correct parts instead of the ones we were told that were correct. Well Here is some pics and what was accomplished.

Here is the difference in the stock valve springs and the trick flow valve springs
[/IMG]

8 down 8 to go
[/IMG]

All New ones installed as well as the doherty racing cams and timing chains put back on
[/IMG]

Here is a shot from the top of the head with the new cams and valve springs though you can't really tell.
[/IMG]

Motor going back together. Front cover, valve covers, and oil pan back on
[/IMG]

Intake on
[/IMG]

[/IMG]

Here is a shot of the brakes finished up and reinstalled on the front of the car. I think they came out pretty good. Sanded the paint off the lettering to let the raw caliper show. It turned out really good. And I already know my wheels are filthy. I guess thats what happens when they sit in a garage for a year and a half.
[/IMG]

[/IMG]

Clutch installed. I reused the clutch and pressure plate from when I had my car done last time. Loved the clutch and it was the same size so I put it on.
[/IMG]

Transmission bolted up to the motor. And the guy who has been lending me an extra set of hands all weekend.
[/IMG]

Long tubes installed and locking header bolts on.
[/IMG]

[/IMG]

Final result at the end of the weekend. Motor, transmission, and long tubes successfully installed in the car.
[/IMG]

[/IMG]

More to come soon.

Ok so it doesn't look like I got that much accomplished but the rear brake lines are almost finished. I cleaned the rear wheels up really good inside and out and put them back on the car. I got the rear IRS springs taken out again and cut 3/4 coil off of them. Then finally set her on all four for the first time since the suspension has been done with the motor and trans in it and the rear springs cut. I already put some bbk lowering springs in the front when I put it back together. So far it sits considerably lower than it did. I would guess it will still settle a litte bit all the way around though. Tonight I get to start ripping apart the interior to swap over all the wiring. Here are the latest pics of it lowered.

Ok started on the wiring swap on the car. This is the part I was least looking forward to. Its just so time consuming. Anyways when the car gets done I will have keyless entry finally instead of using my key for everything which will be nice for a change. And if I needed to tell any of you this but things always get worse before they get better, well here is the pictures to prove that. Took the entire interior out of my car to start changing the wiring over. Got all my wiring out and half of it out of the donor car last night. What a pain in the A$$. Also was very depressing seeing all of my interior all over my garage. Anyway here is the pics.

More progress pics to come tomorrow. Hope to have the wiring done by this weekend and it up and running by next weekend finally. I can see the light at the end of the tunnel of this long progress.

Ok I don't have pictures for all the progress but here is a run down of what has been completed. Got the body harness swapped over, The dash harness swapped over and the Nitrous line ran to the back seat where my bottles are. I had to repair a few wires on the dash harness because someone spliced in a really crappy alarm system. I Put all the interior back in minus the drivers seat. Still have to figure out the switch situation on it to power the motors since these are 05-09 seats on 99-04 seat tracks. I let my switch go with the seat so I have to get a new one to power the track. I replaced my lights in my rear seat delete too. So far here are the only pics I have. I hung the drivers fender on too since the wiring on that side is done as well. The seat delete will normally just be black with the SVT logo cut out in it but at night with the lights on this is what it will look like. I think it turned out good.

IT RUNS!!!!!! I am nearing completion on this project. On the to do list now that I drove it around the block.....

Pull flywheel back off car and have turned. Getting some clutch chatter

Put my supplied spacers under springs since I installed steeda x2 ball joints and lowering springs bottoms out pretty easy

cut plates for IRS bolts that go vertical through the trunk floor for support

Install Nitrous solenoids and wire them all up

Alignment

Tune

Tonight will start on tearing the clutch back out of the car and hopefully accomplish that one tonight. I would like to get that done. Everything else will be a breeze. Of course I have long tubes too so I will have to pull the passenger header back off. Here are some pics of the car back together

I'm just glad you got the dust off the car. It was hard to see the pictures in this thread and as the time line got longer so did the layers of dust. Congrats!
