Nothing wrong with a T&J motor, I personally just wouldn't go with one. Jim probably would "forget" a wrench in it or something.

I wouldn't build you one...

We only build "fast" cars.

Thanks guys for all of the inputs, but I'm pretty much set on T&J now(They Have my Deposit). I'm pretty sure they will do a good job.
I do wish T&J was closer to me though.

I just put my deposit down today for the new motor. Hopefully I'll be riding again in about a month (can't rush perfection or close to it.). I told Mr. Barth that I just want the same power with a safe tune. I only have a T-45 transmission.

So we are going with lower compression 9-1, a bit more boost 11 or 12 psi and a new cam that should add about 25 more horses.

I made that much power because my A/F was very lean. I hate to say it, but I THINK Kenne Bell messed up my chip and put the wrong data into it. I don't know how to prove it right now, but I'm not too concern about it at this moment. Just want to get on the rode with the stang again.

Man if i were you i'd drop the compression down to 8.5:1 on a DOHC engine if your starting from scratch...

WOW...I really hate that you lost your motor...the sad thing is that there is no telling how long it could have lasted and it certainly would have lasted longer were it not for the tune...the tune is why this motor let go...no "ifs" "ands", or "Buts"...except for the "butt" that tuned it. I hate this for you but I have never in all my years seen a tune that poor......that is slightly lean for an N/A car.......but definately looks like an N/A tune.....
Tim will take good car of you.....you are in good hands now

Sorry to hear about the loss, I also have a 10lb pulley and I will def not be putting it on anytime soon. I had my chip reburned cause the one from KB was fubared. My a/f is fatter than hell, never goes above 11:1 and I had them pull some timing out cause I wanted it to last for a long time. It sees 5K+ rpms daily and would probably have blown up if not for my tune. I had it done at DTP in VA Brent did an awsome job on the tune. KB was not too happy when I told them I did not like thier tune and was going to have it done locally. They were pissed hehe.. Good luck with the new motor and keep us posted!
