I have an 06 GT that has 16,000 miles on it. On the way home from the Seahawks game (GO HAWKS!! NFC west champs!) i was on the freeway and must have hit something that blew a hole the size of a 50 cent piece in the tire. Did no damage to the rim, but the tire is obviously toast. My question is, does anyone know if we are covered by road hazard on the stock tires?

at some dealers, they will include road hazards in your extended warranty. some dealers will take care of you because they have good customer relations. other dealers will tell you to take a hike. this is not a warranty issue of any kind. it is the same as if you got into a collision.

check with your dealer and find out for sure. the stock tires are pretty cheap right now. under $80 in many places.

I'm a manager for a tire chain and the dealer wont do dog sh%t for you. Call the manufacturer direct they might be nice enough to give you a good will discount and hope an authorized dealer will bother with you, the paper work is a pain in the ass. Good luck.

Well, did a lot of calling around. Tommyroc, your right.....the dealer just passed the buck onto somebody else. Called a few distributors of BFG tires and decided too much bs for me.:bs: So I just ordered a new tire and ponied up the money. GT Tony, I think I met you once at one of the Kid Valley get togethers. Thanks for all the input.
