This might be a little lengthy, sorry.

Ok so today i had a little incident. Going to lunch today i pulled out on the street in 1st gear and got on it a little, shifting into 2nd it grinded for a sec then nothing and the rpms went up. Thinking i missed 2nd i tried again and nothing, shifter goes in and nothing happens with or with out clutch action. I'm like ok i blew 2nd time to baby it around with 1st and 3rd. So i go to 3rd and everything is fine until i pull up to this light and pull a U turn. I put it in 1st and turn then attempt to go to 3rd and i guess the **** hits the fan. Nothing, tranny starts acting up and no gear will work. As i'm pushing the clutch in back and forth trying not to get stuck in traffic the car keeps bucking like its in gear, keep in mind i'm shifting in any possible gear i can to see if it will unlock or and get into neutral. So i finally pull into a parking lot and stop. I press the clutch in with the shifter in the neutral position, I ease of the clutch and the car starts to move. Ok i got problems, and i park it. Try to jar it loose and nothing. Later got it towed to my house.

So i'm thinking my tranny is blown and it's stuck in gear with the clutch cable still doing its job.. Gonna pull the shifter tomorrow to see what it looks like in there.

Anyone wanna confirm what i think?

You may have broke a shift fork. 1-2, 3-4 are separate forks but if one shattered the shift rail could have fallen apart. That's what happened to mine. The only thing is if you were able to get it in 1st then it could be a busted syncro. Either way the tranny has to be pulled.

same thing happend to my car, trans has to come out, something is broken internally.somehow i managed to unfree mine and it still had the other gears but it was only when had the car at a certain angle.if i went up an incline and let it roll back with my foot on the clutch and hit the brake good it would come out of the stuck gear but if your driving along and you break decently and the car semi tilts forward be ready for it to be stuck again.
