I recently got done installing a completely new top end on my 94 gt. The engine has 127,000 miles. I installed a new e303 cam with aluminum heads, 1.6 roller rockers. and victor jr intake. The car ran fine for 500 miles. It's starts smoking about 2 minutes after it's been running. Would this problem be due to the rockers not set correctly? Or is it my fear that somehow the rings gave out on me? Thanks

Unlikely it's a ring problem if it's so close to a major engine upgrade like that. Could be something as stupid as a defective PCV valve. Could also be a leaky intake gasket. It could also be a problem in the valvetrain geometry which caused the valve stem seals and/or valve guides to fail. Or just ****ty valve stem seals to begin with. Run a compression test and leak down test to rule out the piston rings.
