How much smoke? Valve seals will do that (especially when cold), also piston rings. Does it still run strong, or can you feel a difference? You should have a compression check and/or leakdown test done.

I agree with Loudpedal, also are your sure its blue and not black i.e. rich. It might be time for new O2 sensors.

Blue smoke: Burning oil
Black smoke: Burning fuel
White smoke: Burning coolant

It's possible your vavle seal or piston rings are bad. Valve seal are more common, especially on stock heads. Pull the compression and see where you're at.

I don't know if ford will do compression checks. I'm sure they will, but they'll probably charge you outrageous prices. A guage is only $20 or so at a parts store, and it's real easy to do yourself.
