i have an early run 03 cobra which i bought brand new....
every forth or fifth start i get a puff of blue smoke. anyone
else have this problem or know the fix? oh yeah, it only has
8k miles on it....
If the car sits for long periods of time like mine, you will see it from time to time.
one theory is oil seeping through the heads, personally i think its just some small pubbling of oil in the intake from the PCV valve.
If you ever coast down in gear to a stop to listen to your pipes burble, like i do some times, that oil flying around has to go somewhere.
Plus mine is a Garage Queen, it only gets out on dry weekends.
Come to think of it I have not noticed it since around 12,000 miles, she now has 17,500.
Just keep a vigilant eye on your dip stick, I really think its normal for our 32 valves, theres a lot of stuff moving under those big ole valve covers.
