Too bad if they won we might have seen the first time in NFL history that a coach was able to consume the entire gatorade shower

Damn there were some dirty plays there. I don't think this game should have ended the way it did. I think some unfairly called dirty plays changed the outcome, but I can't prove/change it, no matter what. Oh well, the Vikes put up a good show, granted they should have pulled it out, but they didn't. So ends the great season, and a lame super bowl is to come. Oh well.

We really screwed ourselves over too with those 4 turnovers too...There were some REAL dirty plays by the Saints against Favre throughout the game. I think if the real vikings had shown up we would have walked over them, but we didn't, and it's all over.

One hell of a game...Farve took a freakin beating and still hung in there. Nothing dirty about it. The QB is a football player...he has to expect to get hit...hard. If you don't want him hit then protect him.

That said...the devil is shopping for an overcoat because THE SAINTS ARE IN THE SUPERBOWL!!!!!

I live/work about 15 miles from Brett's hometown. That being said, this is Saints country. We love our Saints but we're also very proud of Favre. He played his butt off, never left the game, kept his team in it till the end. Much respect for him. Now onto Miami and the Colts. Geaux SAINTS

Being I went to USM, I like #4 obviously.........but the WHO DAT NATION comes first and foremost. The old man is a tough bird, and hung in there, and you have to respect that - plus I've always thought the Vikes were a classy team. But, it is football and you're gonna get hit eventually. Coulda, woulda, shoulda....The better team won this one.

Well congrats to the Saints. They played a hell of a game and Brees was on fire.

I have to say, the Colts' pass coverage was absolutely SORRY. They weren't covering anyone! Brees had at least one completely open guy to choose from on every passing play he ran.
