OK so my question of the minute is who has sub frame connectors?
I ask because I am fully planning on being that old guy that spends about 2years with his grandson pulling this 05 GT apart and completely rebuilding it.

So if you do have them, who made them?
Did you feel a difference?
Would you spend the money on something else if you could redo it?
Are the boxed BMR's over kill?
Do the boxed BMR's block anything important (I saw a picture that showed them covering some fuel line, etc)?
Would the tubular set do just as good in street cars?

And lastly as always thanks for the expert advice guys!

until you go blown, i dont think you will really need subframe connectors. the new chassis is pretty rigid to begin with, WAY ahead of the FOX platform. with a N/A engine, you would be hard pressed to see much difference.

i dont have S/F connectors, but i have worked on many cars with them. weld on connectors usually make it extremely difficult to properly measure any frame damage after a collision. many of the structural reference points are blocked by the connectors.

subframe connectors are good for racing, but bad for collision repairs.

I agree with bigcat here. I would go even further and say the connectors wouldn't be necessary until you would be at higher boost levels with a blower or turbo. The bodies on these new cars are about 30% stiffer than previous years.

Supposed to be as stiff as a Fox with a roll cage according to one article I read.

OK, just worried about hard launches twisting my ride. I have seen Mustangs, classics, and vetts a like twisted from a, shall we call it fast life. Just don't want to end up that way. I am want to put down as many horses as I can. 2,000 hp does you no good if only 300-400 of them are getting to the ground!

I saw a cross section picture of the body. The thing has what looks like honeycomb structure inside of the body tubes, pretty impressive.
