Tthats your feed. mainly what you want to see is if it has a piece of rubber hose with hose clamps under the car. On3 in known for sending those. and they are known to slip off after time. thus. leaving all your oil in the street.
I will check tomorrow. It has something underneath on ds and ps of car.Tthats your feed. mainly what you want to see is if it has a piece of rubber hose with hose clamps under the car. I did find this in the plumbingSo it's running an A9P.
Is there a mass air flow sensor in the plumbing at all? Probably in the pass fender
It looks like my throttle body is factory. Should I change that if so what size should I get ?Tthats your feed. mainly what you want to see is if it has a piece of rubber hose with hose clamps under the car. I already have it tore down to the picture above. Any quick way to check it from this point? It could be the thermostat or a pin hole in the head gasket. Head gasket can blow where it only allows compression gases to go into the coolant. They have a test kit that you can rent at Advance Auto or autozone. Its called a block test kit. You suck up a little coolant at the cap and it changes color if combustion gas is present.
Yeah I agree I can't tell if someone been in these head's before but the orange paint means something. Any clue or maybe someone knows. Also the injectors are black and all the clips have been changed. Any idea what pound they are ?You may as well replace the head gaskets and refresh stuff, you know, make sure it is ready for more boost.
You were right about the hose underneath. Couple questions the injectors are black and all the clips have been changed. Any idea what size they are and heads have orange paint on springs. Sure it's there for a reason ?It looks like my throttle body is factory. Should I change that if so what size should I get ?
My bad didn't mean to. If you could combine them and pick a snappy title I would greatly appreciate it. I'm learning as I go . ThanksYou have two threads going and you've started asking the same questions in both. If you are going to use this one like a progress thread (that is what I would do) then keep posting here and abandon the other or I can combine them together and pick a snappy title for ya.
So I got it apart, what head gaskets should I get?Cool project! Pretty nice looking car. Has anything else been done to the engine besides the turbo? Have you pulled the computer completely out to see if it has a chip installed?
Not to get to far off topic, but I cant help but notice that jacked up truck in the background. Two questions. First what is it. Second is someone daily driving it?
