Bogs and Stalls When Hawt!!!!

It would be real handy to know what the PCM "thinks" are the values for:

• Input air temperature (IAT)
• Engine coolant temperature (ECT)
• Air flow (MAF).
• fuel pressure (will need an external gauge for this model year).

The usual easiest method is to use an ODB2 scanner that can read operational PID's. Here's some information on an affordable Windows based unit.

The other way to do this is to actually measure the voltage across the various sensors and look up the temperatures in the Ford service manual.

Have you tested to confirm that the outside cooling fans work on BOTH speeds? Here's an area where an ODB2 scanner with bi-directional capabilities can make very short work of this question (one way or the other). Using the scanner to "command" the PCM to turn on the fans.
