Bolt in roll cage?

Hey guys, i have been looking for a roll cage and i have found some that "bolt" in to like the floor or something, they also allow use of the back seat but have an optional bar that goes back across and allows use of a harness...........does anyone have experience with these cages and how easy or hard are they to install? do they come pre welded? ect. thanks guys,

I think I mentioned this on the VMF...
Just be SURE that you can actually retain your rear seat. My old roll bar was advertised as being able to use my rear seat when if fact it would have required cutting it up to fit. Not that I'm bitter about it though....

well thats crappy..sorry to hear that, i mean, i guess i wouldnt be that mad about not being able to use the back seat, i mean i really dont usually let people sit back there anyways.its just one of those things..........

I put in an Autopower race rollbar. Mine has the diagonal bar as well as the harness bar. Mine installed without the need to do anything to the seat, but I did have to drill holes in the metal interior quarter panel covers. Technically you could use the rear seat, but anyone sitting there would likely be kissing the harness bar. You can see some pics of mine and my install info here

looks like a lot more work to install than i anticipated, did you have to weld it all yourself or does it come already welded

To be honest, it was alot easier to install than I had anticipated. The hardest part was drilling the holes, but the PVC method worked great. There are 3 pieces to the one I bought: Main hoop and 2 legs. I installed the main hoop with only the passenger seat removed. Once in you lean it forward to install the legs. Fairly simple.

i am confused about this pvc method, i guess i just can see where u used it and how it helped, sorry i am kinda slow so u did have to weld?

I have a Compition Enginering 8-point, that goes threw the back speaker panel, and bolts/ welds to the trunk area.
