Hey ya'll... putting this engine back together and almost done.. (Ranger buildup in signature) Put the heads on today and tourqued them down to 72 Ft-lbs alittle at a time (50, 60, then 72)
Im going to use the stock rockers for now because i unexpectedly have to buy a new transmission (C4) to finish this engine swap and really dont have the cash right now.. plus, its nothing more than pulling the valve covers to swap them out eventually..
Anyway... i need to know how to set these thing up...
What do i torque the bolts to?
Do i have to set the lash? adjustments?
Do i need to adjust each cylinder with the piston at TDC? does it matter?
Any info is apprecaited... this little beast is almost done...
