Bonnet/ hood running horse.

I have a bonnet/hood running horse in good condition with patent pending on the base.
Looking for any information on this.

Found a 65-66 one on eBay here

Hi Neco,yes that the the one, not sure if that's a repo or not, mines a genuine one, I've been told if it has Patent Pending it's original and mine has, it was on the hood of the car I bought a 67 coupe, sold the hood but keet the horse,just recurching to see if I should sell or not,thanks for getting in touch.

Mine says nothing on the bottom. Came from and estate sale. My buddy was picking up stuff his mom had purchased and it was in there, she didn't want it so he grabbed it. Didn't even know it was from a mustang, he just thought it looked cool.

Thread '66 hood ornament?'

I recently bought a 66 coupe. The car has a running horse emblem on the hood. I have looked through literally hundreds of pictures and haven't seen any other mustangs with the ornament. Does any one know how rare this is, and why haven't i seen any other mustangs with the hood ornament?
