I have a belt driven powerdyne system and was wondering where I should attach my vacuum line? It’s on an 88 lx 5.0
Okay so I can just run it to any of those that are free?
you need to have it on its own vacuum source or it will not be accurate
just sharing what Chris Richard at Pro M has said for many years.. Boost gauge, Boost bypass. MAP Sensor and FPR should be on their own dedicated vacuum source, and you don't want them sharing another vacuum source or it can throw off the readings. Can you clarify this mike?
In my mind, the source is the intake manifold plenum, which is the only “source”. There are different locations to tap into this source. The way I see it, as long as there’s no leaking lines or connections, the signal from the source should be the same regardless of where you tap in.
