Borla or Bassani exhaust...get in here!

Well, I am ready to buy a cat-back system for my new 04 Gt.

Now, I have heard many sounds clips of both Bassani and Borla (Stinger) kit.
Which one sounds deeper and beeter with a stock mid-pipe?

Also, where is the best place to get them. I know that performance wise, I will probably gain the same on my stock mustang, but really want soemthing to sound nice and deep and throaty.

I have had stock, flowmaster and magnaflow. I loved the Flowmasters, didn't dig the magnaflows too much.

So what do you guys think?

With the stock h-pipe bassani would sound deeper and more throaty, borla would have that classic saleen sound. If u want go to mustangexhaust.com lots of sound clips there.

I have Borla stinger on my 02 GT with stock h pipe, and I love it. It has a mean agressive muscle car sound with absolutly no drone,and it's not too loud. My buddy has bassani on his mach 1, and it sounds mean as hell too,but it's more of a low gurgly sound, where the borla has a more old school muscle car sound.The quality of both is top notch, Borla has 4" tips that look phat as hell and it's easier to install, but bassani is nice as well. I have the bassani street comp catback with stock h pipe. It sounds great, the fit is top notch. Very mean sounding, not obnoxious at all.

I had both the bassani catback and the borla stinger on my mustang. After having both the Borla Stinger produces the deepest tone and best performance for a direct bolt on to the stock h pipe. I even added the bassani catted x pipe to the bassani catback and still couldn't get the sound i liked thus I am here to stay with borla stingers as I think they are by far the best sounding exhaust out there and that is from experience.

I've got a bassani cat back on my car and I must say I really like it. Has a really great sound and everyone tells me its pretty loud...

edothekid - both Bassani and the Borla Stigners are great cat-back systems, as either would sound great w/your stock mid-pipe.

But I'm bias . . . go with the Borla Stingers.
