I had that filled in on mine. However, as the paint "broke in" over the next few months, the BOSS came back as a ghost image. My painter says that it will go away with a little color sanding, though. The ghost image doesn't bother me at all, but he's taking care of it anyway.

I dont think wetsanding and buffing will take care of that. It sounds more like filler shrinkage to me

Those are two different wings, BUT they are both BOSS wings. The top one is the one I have and it doesn't hang far off the back. It's the one like Age Classic retails, or at least used to sell. The bottom one is the big BOSS wing, it hangs a good distance off the back.

Yeah, those two are different. The top one is a good bit shorter than the bottom one. The top wing is about the size of an S281 wing and the bottom one is practically a Porsche whaletail.

I want one like the top one, but I don't see it anywhere, except for the S-281, but some of those look like they have pretty sizeable gaps between the rear quarter panel and the spoiler. Do you know where I could find one like the first pic?

I looked at it in the paint shop today, and it was practically gone after the sanding and buffing, not completely though. It doesn't bother me at all, that's why I didn't have him add more filler. The wing material is rigid enough that the ghost image is nearly unavoidable. It's actually kind of cool, since it appears 3-dimensional but feels flat to the touch, almost like it's floating there.

Just found this place. A good bit more than what I paid, though.

I'll see if I can find some more. I'm curious now.

More pics, sorry I fudged up and took them in B&W. BTW this wing is from abcexclusive and measures 15 inches across. It hangs off the back of the trunk lid 7 1/2 inches and is approx. 2 inches farther out than the bumper.

GTJake- that blue stang that i posted pics of is Jplayer from coral. i talked to him before about the spoilet and he told me its a shinoda replica from ABC exclusive.

heres some more pics.

cool to see you painted your spoiler and hood 347Stroked95

i would rather have the small one because i think it sticks out a little to much but i still love the spoiler.

I'd rather get the S-281 cause it doesn't stick off so much, thanks for the pics.

Weird. That wing looked like mine from straight behind. Quite a different story from the side though. Mine's a bit shorter, about the size of an S281 wing. Considering the price of the one like mine, in the link I supplied, the S281 wing would probably be a less costly choice. I actually tried to get an S281 wing before I bought the BOSS, they were just on backorder everywhere and I needed it fairly fast.

i totally agree with you guys.

i dont want the saleen s281 because i think its a little to common for me. i would like the s-351 but i would rather have something lower.

ABC exclusive has one. the same as the blue stang in the pics i posted. i really love the last picture of it.

heres a link http://www.abcexclusive.com/wings.htm

scroll down to BOSS wing to find it. if it doesnt stick out as much as the larger version of the spoiler, that would be the one i want.

The one from abc is the one I have, it is going to stick out. As far as I know all boss wings are the same. I have never seen the infamous "short" wing, but I guess it could be out there. I chose mine because it is not common and a bit obnoxious
