Bought 17x10.5's, will I have rubbing problems?

I tried a search buy it yielded few answers.

Just bought some black bullitts with 17x9 in the front and 17x10.5 in the rear. I also purchased some 315/35's for the back tires. I know all about flipping the quad shock or removing it all together, but I've heard of a few people not having to do this.

I just want to know so I can be prepared when they get here. I want them on as soon as possible. :D

Right on!...Those are the EXACT rims I just put on my car. With my 3" Bassani piping they don't rub my 10.5's. I am running a 1/4" Baer Spacer though. I haven't actually got down there to look at the clearance but there's no rubbing in the back. On the front 9's however, I'm running 255's and they do rub before full lock. Hopefully a change to 03+ Cobra A-Arms will resolve this issue. I think the black wheels can only be pulled off with a black car or a red one such as yours. :nice:

Mine's in the middle. I'll post better pics when they are installed. Nik_95Cobra....Your car is sweet. Trust me, when I was debating on getting those rims, your car definitely didn't keep me from buying them. :D

I have 17x11's with 315/35/ Nitto's and I just banged on the quads a tiny bit where it was rubbing. It would only rub on bumpy tight corners, but it was enough to annoy me. Alot of people just get decent control arms and ditch the quads, which is what I'll do eventually.
