hellion turbo kit.
So I bought a 2008 mustang gt with a hellion turbo kit with 62mm precision turbo. Was tuned at 10 psi and ran well for 5 years till one day the rod decided to evacuate the side of the block. Ok here's the question.
I have a used 4.3 motor with a spun bearing a friend gave me. I want to make 550-600 whp on 93octane nice weekend car/ fun car.
I'm new to fords so I dont Have allot of research under my belt. What do I need to do to engine. Forged rods Pistons arp main bolts and head studs. Turn the boost up a little and get it tuned. It has a stage 3 clutch in it already and still running the factory 5 speed.
The kit is fueled by 34# injectors and duel gt500 pumps
What's the weak points and what do I need to be concerned about? I don't need a forged crank shaft I wouldn't think not at that power level.
