hey guys...this might sound kinda dumb..but i bought a diablo sport chip off e bay..only got it cause it was 91 dollars..the dumb thing is that the guy said it came out of an 03 gt 5 spd..i have an 02 gt 5 spd..so it is compatible..but i dont know if its tuned..or what kind of tune.... im just looking for some more power..and it was really cheap so im giving it a go..still waiting for it to arrive....will this chip need to be reprogrammed if it was in a gt allready? also what kind of tune is on the chip..or is that all your choice when you first buy it? thanks a lot! guys, Steve

yes the chip will need to be programmed to your mods, it could have been programmed for aftermarket gears or bigger injectors or exhaust etc. thats why it was 91 dollars. you are gonna have some more cost to retune it. if it was tuned for gears, it will throw off your speedometer.

Why wouldn't you have asked these questions before you bought the chip?

Just get your car dyno tuned and reburn the chip, not too hard
