Bought A PS3!

Bah, poop on all that! I still have an Atari Jaguar in my dad's basement somewhere that'll whomp any new game systems with it's Über-ergonomic game controllers. Syndicate was the ****zot back in the day! :nice:

About the only two things I've got against the XBox and 360 is that they've all pretty much got almost all the same games as the PS2 (even if the Xboxes have better graphics), and I hate contributing any more of my hard-earned money to the Microsoft monopoly than I find absolutely necessary. I might buckle someday and snap up a used 360 when they come down in price (assuming they're backwards-compatible with older Xbox stuff), but again, I'll just be content with my "old-school" PS2 junk. :)

Im actually weary about buying a Ps3 now.. I was at best buy and they said they had 4 returned that stopped working and their demo unit stopped working after and hour of use. I also was playing the demo at walmart and the load time was worse than ps2. However the graphics are phoenominal.. For now ill get a Wii or 360 next year a PS3

Too bad PS3 sucks lol.

Supposed to be the worst playstation to date.

300$ more than xbox 360 for what? Same graphics, 360 has 100x better online and no problems, AND the DVD's and game loading times are much faster.....

I own a 360 and I have a love/hate relationship with it. The whole reason I bought it was b/c I love playing on XBOX live. It was awesome on the regular xbox but I seem to have tons of problems with the 360. For instance, I just bought the new splinter cell and it lags like crazy! The lag is so strong that the 360 will freeze. I had the same problem with Call of Duty 2 but it was fixed after about 2 months of frustration.

I just played some Call of Duty last night and while on Private Chat it kept cutting out. So the conversation is choppy and annoying.

I've thought about selling my system but I love it......and hate it.

Now you can go to Walmart and pick up a game console that looks like the old 2600 controllers. They contains almost all the games that were ever released for the 2600 all in one tiny joystick.

Saw those. Gawd, I woulda' killed for one of them, back in the day.

Now that you mention it, though, that Mortal Kombat everything-in-a-controller game looks pretty tempting ... that is, if I wasn't so darned hung up on wanting to go out and get Guitar Hero II, now. :D

Finally found one very, VERY good reason to get a PS3, however ... or an Xbox 360 ... or at least to upgrade my PC... :)

If you have the same with problem with multiple games while playing on XBL, then its not your console, its your internet connection. Are you wireless? If so try running a direct connection to see if that helps, also if you have a router, port forwarding will definitely help.
