Bought a SWEET '95 to keep me happy....

I am in the process of getting my check sent to N2OJnky's wife for here 1995 GT. Most of you have probably seen it at shows. It is bright red with a Saleen hood, 18" ROH wheels, and <gulp!>....."302 Bad Girl Edition" badges. Needless to say, the badges came off the car on day one. Not that I don't feel like a "bad girl" some days, but I don't need the whole world to know.

Anyway, the car doesn't even have 30,000 miles yet and is about 95% perfect. I am going to swap the big Baer brakes from my 1990 onto the '95, change out the rear sub / amp set up, and see about getting some kind of tune done on the computer so it idles better with the HCI set up on the car.

The car is absolutly beautiful and will definately keep me happy since my project '90 took a huge turn for the worst. The '95 is NOT terribly fast, so don't embarass me on the street. Just wave and know I am happy to be back out in a Mustang again !!!!

I'll second this! Brandon what happened to the fox? If you ditch or want to ditch the tranny in the 95 i'll take it! That is if it's 5 speed! peace

Hey brandon nice to hear your still around. Was a little worried for awhile there. I cant remember what it was I did on that red GT but I do remember it was an awefully clean little car, congrats.

I'm pleased to hear that we haven't lost you! That car was beautiful! Bring it to the track and give it some exercise.

Now, where is junkie?

Curious if you'd be willing to share the final sale price.
Seems nobody wants mine and it has a few more miles but sounds fairly comparable in condition and setup.
Thanks,

E.J. and John:

I'm around... Having some motivational problems... Been on the road most days during the last four months, my buddy got out of the mustang business, then my wife bailed too...

I'm hoping to have the N20Jnky put together by the end of the summer... Might make it down to Fontana to run the 408 in the FFW, but there are a lot of parts to be put back together between me and that!

The engine is basically done. I have to get the exhaust fitted cause I'm running LT's. Then I have to get the wiring all back together cause I completely re-did it to hide in the fenders. Then I have a completely new Aeromotive fuel system to get on. UGH, I'm getting another headache!!! Oh, did I mention I have to pull the rear end apart AGAIN, because something screwed up when I last removed my axles??? Might also help if I go ahead and put the carpet, seats and dash back in.

Anyway, right now I have a heap of parts, not a lot of time, and really no reason to hurry.

Good to hear from you earl. Wish I could say I would be able to join you in fontana. It was a goal of mine as well but just isnt going to happen at this point, maybe next year. I cant wait to see your car when you get her all back together. Should be something else.

I gotta say that when my '90 took an unexpected turn for the worse and Earl's insane business travel schedule kicked in, we didn't do anything Mustang related at all. Then I finally decided where I stood with my project car, Terri's '95 came up for sale, and Earl seemed to get a bit of motivation back to squeeze in time to work on his monster. Everything sorta turned at the same time, so it is looking better to at least have Earl's car making a few passes at the end of the year.

Funny how you can be so devoted and wrapped up in one thing, seemingly loving it so much, only to have a total mental shut down towards the project. I have gone through this about 3 times in my life. Now Earl and I hit the slump at the same time. Even though his headers are still the biggest pain in the butt I have ever seen, we are going to get it figured out soon..... and that is the only major hurdle to pass. From there I think all the excitement will be back in the garage as we work.

Very weird how little things can get you down, but clearing the same small obstacle can bring you right back up.
