I just bought a 89 LX 5.0 5spd. Notchback I guess from what I've read in the last week or so (it's trunk not hatch). It is in very good condition and I was very impressed by the power during the test drive.
Currently its running 373 gears, F303 cam, 2.5" pipes no cats, oversized pulleys, lowered 2", not exactly sure what else or what all of this means. I'll have more details when I get the car. Obsessed with the stang already and I don't even get to pick it up until Weds next week
It's definitely going to take some getting used to because the most powerful rwd car I've driven is my bros 240sx which is currently pushing around 200rwhp with his current setup.
So, this is my first stang and any pointers or advice in general would be greatly appreciated.
Oh, and the car is the factory light green....ew! That can be fixed easily though.
