I don't know if it's good price...if you bought them from Pep Boys, you probably paid an average market price for them.

Factory discs aren't that common, so that makes it a nice option...but remember that those discs are using 37 y/o technology, so if you want to have modern performance you might want to upgrade to modern high-perf discs.

That is unless you want to keep it all original, but for the life of my I can't understand why anyone would want to do that. lol.

That’s about right for stock stuff.
Snail50 IMHO the stock 4 pistons are pretty good if you are not racing and there are upgraded rotors that will improve them even more.

That's not bad. About 10 years ago, I priced the rotors only and they wer $119 each. I imagine the rebuilt calipers would be about $50 each. I don't think you did too bad at all.

How do you turn these rotors? I like how it says in their text "scrapes and cleans pads" doesn't that mean it wears them out faster? In my opinion, the only thing you get out of these rotors is shorter pad life, more frequent rotor replacement and "the look" and frankly, it's not worth the extra money to me. Most cars don't need the slotted and drilled rotors anyway (this is fact).

Most people don't turn rotors anymore anyway. 9 times out of ten the 20 year old at the shop machines an imbalance in them anyway. Rotor price also depends on origin. They sell chinese ones for cheap.

Well they screwed me on the brakes. Seems like the guy that ordered them for me was on the way out and he was ****ing with everyones order before he left. Either that or he was just a freaken moron. I opened the box and saw 1 piston so I was like "....um that's not right... Can you double check the part numbers..." All wrong. They were for a '65 or something. Thought to ask about the rotors too... wrong number... I gotta go back tomorrow to get my money back talking to the manager since they were special order or something..

You learned a very valuable lesson with this. I have learned that a lot of these parts stores only go back to 68 in there computers and they ASSUME that the 67 and 68 are the same and order the parts based on the 68 info they have. If they would have bothered to check the books they would have noticed that the 65-67 use 4 pistons while 68 and up use single piston. I am willing to bet this is what happened to you. And just for the record they will not work on your car and if they are for the 68 you got royally screwed on the price, as the 68 stuff is pretty cheep in comparison to the 67. I still believe it is worth it to fix the ones you have as the 4 piston 67’s are in MHO pretty good brakes. It is also a good idea to get the soft hoses at the same time or at least check to make sure you have 67 not 65-66 hoses on there as the calipers as the 65-66 will work on the car but have different hose sizes and you must match these and it is possible that someone made the switch to 65-66 some time in the past. I hope this helps

update:

the parts department manager was trying to get me to not cancel my order. He can get the right rotors for $90 each and the right calipers for like $75 each, both up $20-$25 each which is like $80-$100 more :\ I dunno if the calipers are even bad. I'm gonna take everything apart on thursday before I go back to the parts store.
