I bought a rebuilt 8.8" rear end out of an '89 5.0. The guy says that it was rebuilt by him with 3.73's, the stock axles, new seals, and all that. It is painted black, and still has the factory cover on the back. He says that he checked the backlash and all that crap. The only problem is, he said that it has been sitting for almost 8 years. It is not full of fluid, but he says he put some in so it doesnt rust inside. Will the seals be bad? Forgot to mention, it's got C-Clip eliminators too. Any other things you can think of for me to check out are much appreciated. Thank you.
