I just bought 2 10" eclipse's SW6103DVC and i can't decide want amp to get. the subs run at 200 w rms and im looking to run a two channel amp that supplies 150-250 watts per channel @ 4 ohms. Im not looking for anything fancy, so i thought maybe something from audiobahn (not decided yet) or the profile HA1040. any opinions or suggested welcomed.

Yes they are good amps. A lot better then Audiobahn. Looks like you have dual 4ohm coils. The Aura amp would be great for 2 of those subs. The subs would be 2ohm load and you would get 225 amps for each sub.

So, what does your "friend" stand to gain by convincing you that these amps are no good? I personally bought 4 of them. They're made OEM in the same factory as Avionixx, Tsunami, Elemental, etc. They'll put out rated power plus a bit more. What else do you want? Go ahead and search my username and see what kind of advice and equipment I have used. I am quite qualified to say that these are good amps. They are NOT old school SS, PG, Zapco, etc, but they are $100 ea as opposed to $600 new, or $800-1000 now.

Try a Rockford Fosgate T3002 on for size. This little amplifier makes over 300 watts RMS per channel at 2 ohms and over 200 watts RMS per channel at 4! Best value in a car audio amplifier that I know of.

I may have to buy one of those aura amps for my daily driver's sub setup I'm thinking of building and report back.
