The Wife had been missing having a Mustang of her own since we sold her 85 Saleen, so I started looking around for a little newer car for her. Finally found a 51,000-mile Calypso LX hatch that she really liked. It was pretty much bone stock when we bought it with the exception of a set of Cobra R wheels and a brand new Flowmaster Force 2 exhaust.

Overall, the condition of the car was pretty good. It had a few dings that paintless dent removal took care of, the passenger's mirror was uber faded, the belt mouldings were crusty and the door pockets and one visor were tatty. A quick visit to Mustang Parts & Accessories at 50resto took care of most of that.

After three weekends in the garage and visits to the tint shop and tire store, it is pretty much done.

Here's a shot of her car, my Saleen and a friend's Calypso notch at the Northwest Fox Reunion Picnic yesterday.

And this is a pic of us and all three of our cars. This is the first time I've ever had all three of our cars in one place other than our driveway.

Thanks for the compliments guys. I'm just the grunt labor. She told me what she wanted it to look like and handed me the credit card. I wasn't sure about the headlights or the wheels when she picked them out, but they really look good with the green.

Get this: We saw a Calypso coupe at a show a couple of weeks ago and she said We need one of those next. I have witnesses.
