When I bought it, there were no leaks, or anything wrong with the car that I knew of. But when I bought it, there was a half-tank of gas left. About 3 hours ago, I filled it up, and when I got home, I found that gasoline was leaking from where the filler hose and the tank meet. Doing some observations on it, I found that the grommet was disconnected at the top of the hose/pipe, whatever it is, but it was still solid at the bottom. So, thinking about it, my next door neighbor is a mechanic (thank god) and he took a look at it, and he said there is supposed to be a clamp there. I'm not completely sure if that is correct or not, and if it is, how is it going to work with the grommet that is blocking where it is leaking?

So basically, my question is that could it be the grommet that is making the car leak and it needs a new grommet and/or a hose clamp, or do you think the whole hose is ****ed up?

I can post pictures up in a bit for all of you that are interested and want to see.
