some of the 5.0L`s,I think roughly 87-89 in particular can be serious oil burners.
I bought my 89 when it was one year old with 25,000 miles.It went through oil pretty good,so I demanded and had the engine rebuilt under warranty.
just thought I`d point this out as I don`t think it has been mentioned.
