I know this might need to be in sound and shine but i was wondering if anybody else here has made a custom sub box for there stang. I am getting one made tomorrow so when i fold down the back seats all you see is plexi glass and 2 12 inch subwoofers with my amp mounted in the middle. Anyway to my point. How much weight does the average sub box weigh? (I know some subs weige more ) I was just wondering if by doing this i would have a lot of extra weight. Also how do you guys mount your boxes in your cars and keep them from moving around so much? Somebody told me L clips i have seen the L clips and this guy must not own a mustang or know how to drive one. Any ideas on what i could do to make sure the box does not move?

i have 2 10" L7's in my 1998 gt and it weighs like 120lbs. thank god im selling them, cuz i'll take that money and buy a cat back for the new car.

A way you could mount it, but still be able to move it is put 2 hooks on either side of it and wrap a bungie cord around it (saw it in a 4 door bmw) that way if you get a flat tire you can shove the box out of the way and get the spare.
