We have been at for 45 days straight in a row getting moved and it does get very tiring working seven days a week 10/11 hours a day, so I rally needed this, to relax and it gave me a chance to meet members I have not had the chance to.
I delivered the Monster Marauder to its owner, I have not had this car to the track, but twice so I wanted to adjust the shift points on this car, it was 85 degrees there, so the first pass it ran 12.1 but the 1/2 and the 2/3 was short so I moved the shift points up in 2 MPH increments, by the third pass the car ran a 11.8 at 115 MPH. Now this car would run a very low 11 if I would have had more time.
But then I got politely was asked to get off the track till I installed a roll cage and fire suit and six point but this was wrong because the NHRA has changed the time to 11.49 vice 11.99, but I was happy so I said OK. So then I got my Mark 8 out.
This car should run a high tens, I have been trying to adjust its shift points unlike the Maruader who's shift points were low mine are high so the car was hiting the revlimit, so I was playing with them my best time here was 11.7 at 118 MPH by now it was 3PM so we were done, I hope that we can have a good turn out on December the fourth for the open house, and Dyno Day my friends from SCT will be here as well.
