Just looking for some opinions on this shop's work. They had the best price on a vortech s-trim that I've found, so while ordering it I decided to have them install some subframe connectors. They're only installing the subframes, not the s-trim, is this a good place to have them installed. If not, open to recommendations. I've used Bill's Custom before, but he said to just go to an exhaust shop to get it done.

Brads Custom Auto are one of the best Mustang shops around in the Seattle area. Myself and couples of my follow Mustang buddies had used their service before.

The above statement is incorrect. Brad's is the best Mustang shop in the greater Seattle/Tacoma area. I work in the auto repair industry and can tell you that Brad's does business the right way. They aren't the cheapest, but you will always get quality work in the shop and quality service from Brad and Dane. Remember, you get what you pay for. If you pay for quality, you'll get quality.

Brad's is the best... no joke. When/if you're buying local, or getting work done, they are THE shop.

Got lots of help/advice from them before I ever spent a dime with them... they were more than happy to just discuss 'future plans' for my car and give me tips and opinions with no attemt to ever sell me on anything. First purchase was a TKO II, they mached D&D's mail order price, back when D&D was shipping these for free.

Did a lot more 'visiting' with them over the years (was on my way home from old job), I talked to them about a friend's problems with his 'Stang, they gave several tips, and while nothing specificly fixed the problem... it cost nothing to try what they suggested, (lots of parts swaps with my 'Stang) and it did norrow it down quite a bit. Finaly my friend took the car in. And, as they already knew what had been done, and were confident in our work, Brad went staight to looking at other posabilitys... ended up taking several hours of wire by wire checking with a break out box to discover the problem (one bad/internaly corroded wire). They also identified a 'strange' pop my freinds car was making from the rear axel (due to a broken weld in the center section to tube), this after checking every bolt, shock, etc... All in all they spent nearly 10 hours working these problems, all this and they only charged for two hours of labor, no parts sell ro install... just the labor. Hourly rates may be on the high side there, but you get what you pay for.

Ive known Brad for quite awhile and he is a really good guy and runs a great shop. And this is coming from another shop that does the same stuff.

Don't go anywhere but Brad's! You won't be disappointed by the quality of the work. The only shop that touches my car.

Great for Mustangs, but I was very disappointed when they charged me $1200 for a clutch installed in my 99SS. I understand that it's not their primary talent... but I did feel pretty ripped by the price. Also, MTI in Texas was able to get some air out of the clutch master cyl. that the folks at Brad's insisted wasnt there.

Again, great for Mustangs... but they arent the bunch of angels with harps that this thread makes them out to be

Looks like I'm keeping the appt then, just when calling around there labor prices were on the high side, so wanted to double chk on their quality of work.

Brads Has installed Literally EVERYTHING on my 1990 Gt. Including Maximun Motorsports SFC, and they did and awesome Job.

They quoted about 2 hours of labor for the install, at $78, or 3 hours for the full length's, plus parts. When I lived in Texas I had Dallas Mustangs charge around 190 or so for everything, seemed a little high so I wanted to make sure it was a good shop.

They did my MM full-length SFC's.... very happy with the customer service and the quality of work. Not the cheapest, but you get what you pay for. They will be doing my future performance mods also.

I wasn't questioning you. I was questioning the guy who said he felt ripped off by what they charged him to do the clutch on his rattletrap.
