I need to fix my e-brake. When i pulled up on it it just went slack. I got under the car and noticed the cable going from the e-brake handle to the two cables underneath had snapped. Now when i called Ford Dealer near me and asked if they had the part in stock they told me their isnt one cable there are two that go from the ebrake handle. Am i wrong? This is what the cable looked like that had broke. My look on it is that it attached to the ebrake (i think) went under the car and then looped through like a washer that the other two cables attached.
