My right rear brake caliper is completely shot, so I took it to Big O tires to get an estimate and they said $340. I said **** that, Ill just find a cliper and new pads and do it myself. Anyone know where I can get a replacement caliper for a good price? I really need it. Thanks

Wow! I'm about to buy the front Cobra kit and rear Cobra kit and each kit is only $399 each. You made a good choice walking out of that place.

I'm sure Summit or even Autozone would have the caliper. Heck, you may even want to try your local Ford dealer's Parts Department (especially since you probably need it pretty quick).

Good luck.

I sure wouldn't let Ford put a new caliper on, though. They will charge you a way too much. Just buy the caliper and have someone else put it on, like a performance shop.

The caliper brackets & brake assembly is frickin cake to do it yourself. No special tools needed. 13 & 15mm combination wrenches.

It's $60 for each caliper (so $120 for both) from autozone, and the pads are $25. Sounds much cheaper then $400.
