I am using the Mustang Steves 13" Cobra kit so with the 70 spindles i need drum hubs, I got them used from CJ pony, and there the same baring size wise, thought are differnt. One hub has two machine indents on the lip where the studs are, and it solid on the inside. The other has no machined indents, and there is a hollow ring on the inside inbetween where the baring sit. I and wondering if this will be a problem or a short fall, and if i should just try and and find another hub, perferable with no hollow ring. ANy info would be great.

I'm using the same setup on my '68 with '70 spindles and Mach I brakes. It sounds like one of yours may be an aftermarket replacement. I wouldn't worry about it at all as long as the basic dimensions are the same. I'm running one original and one aftermarket one myself with no problems...
