So I finished the 5 lug brakes were locking up when I had cobras a friend gave me some sn95s for free and it was running perfect, today it started to lock up the fronts again, anyone has idea of what soft lines I can use it’s sn95 front and rear brakes to a 1984 ford mustang 5.0 I managed to get it working with some soft lines it had already but I feel like that’s the issue.

What booster and master cylinder did you use? Did you adjust the booster rod? Did you gut the proportioning side of the stock combination valve?

Typically you just use the 94-98 soft lines and you may need a Weatherhead part #7828 adapter for the passenger side front.

I used a 1993 adjustable LMR booster and yes I did.
Also a 1993 cobra MC.
Gutted the proportioning valve and installed an adjustable ford racing one.

I’m gonna say booster only because of this:

Indeed. It does sound a little bit like what I was going through, but it never locked things up. It just dragged the brakes until they got hot. And, in my case, it was intermittent. It became clear that the booster was the problem for me when I unplugged its vacuum source, and the brake dragging ended. Drove it that way for probably 2 months.

Having said that, and I know you said fronts, is it possible that your emergency brakes are dragging? This would be easily verifiable with the car jacked up into the air. The five lug swap requires an adjustable threaded cable to e-brake handle attachment.

Which front brakes did you go with?

The 99-04 GT PBR's are notorious for dragging and sticking. It's a piston issue when they sit in in old brake fluid without being used.

Only fix is to replace them. If these are the calipers pull them off and attempt to push the pistons in. You should be able to do it by hand (with effort) but if it requires grabbing a C-clamp they are likely sticking and need to be replaced.
