Well, i was focused more on the corvette calipers. As far as i know, the last time i looked at a Corvette they had 2-piston calipers which were very similar looking to the Cobra's and made by PBR. The external design was slightly different, but like i said they were 40x40 calipers same as the 99-04 cobras.

Obviously all the other kits have better calipers with the 4 and 6 piston calipers...but you are gonna pay for them

Found this thread in my searching. I must correct myself because I made a lot of bad assumptions with the earlier post regarding the Corvette calipers that Baer had adapted to the Mustang

I myself now run the GM style PBR on my my Mustang. Piston sizes are 40mmx2, but the pad area is 30% more than the cobra/C4 caliper, sweeps much more of the rotor face (therefore avoiding concentrating the heat to the outside of the rotor) and is a stiffer caliper design in general. Plus, it can accept a 1.25" thick rotor (i'm running 1.1" rotors")

Anyway, thought i would correct that Mustang5L5 fellow who made a bunch of incorrect assumptions about the C5 setup and dismissed it.

Mike, I've got the Baer PBR fronts on mine and just ordered a set of 13"x1.1" front rotors from stoptech. If I understand everything stated here correctly, then my calipers are the same as yours and will also accept 1.25". Right? It would be good info for me to document.

Incidentally, I'm trying to get away from Baer for rotors and the rears on my car are 12" rotors that Baer claims are the same as older F-body rotors (94-97 comes to mind?). However, I obviously cannot use rotors from the parts store, because of the 5x4.75" lug spacing on them. Would you have any idea what other option I have? I don't hate the company, but they do have a nice little mark up going on those rotors.
 
I eventually want to run a 15" drag slick on the rear, anyways. If that doesn't fit over 12" rotors, I'll swap the rotor to the 11.65" ones I bought off of craigslist last month and see how that works. Although, I'll probably have to buy another bracket that will fit my 9". I don't like being owned by a company when there is no appreciable advantage in performance with the tradeoff of a huge disadvantage in parts pricing and availability.
