Brake light out

My right turning blinker is blinking really fast. I took my car in to have an oil change and the technician told me that my brake light was out, so he fixed and it worked fine for a day. The next day it started doing the same thing again (blinking really fast). What would cause this to happen? Is there a short? Should I just replace it myself and see if it does it again? Thanks for any help in this matter.

Start out by swapping the flasher relay under the dash. They're cheap and it only takes a second to swap. It could easily be the problem.

if the relay does not do it, a fast blinker suggests too high a wattage load on the circuit. make sure the correct wattage bulbs are in use.

Check the easy stuff first. Take a peek at the bulb and make sure it's not a loose connection or a dirty contact that jars loose when you hit a bulb. Look at the bulb and see if it's blown out.

What year do you have?? That will help us figure out your prob better. If you turn the headlights on, any bulbs not light up out back?? WHat if you hit the brakes? WHat doesn't light up?

Actually we have 4 seperate bulbs in our tail lights. I remember it because when I removed the taillights to piant them, I did a

Its a 95, I believe everything lights up, but I will check to make sure.
