Brake light stuck on-67 Mustang

On my 67 Mustang, the brake light in the dash cluster is glowing & never shuts off. I replaced the complete brake system & I even disconnected the wire to the prop valve & the light is still on! What would make this light stay on all the time(as long as the ignition is on)??? Is there some sort of brake light relay that's gone to crap? Please feel free to let me know, thanks a bunch.

Maybe your parking brake handle is in the wrong spot?

I bet something needs to be adjusted. The part that detects when the parking brake is on probably thinks the handle is pulled out. Either that or its stuck.
