Ok, dumb ? time. When I run thru 2 or 3 gears pretty hard and just let off, not getting on the brakes , the brake light comes on . The same light that shows you have the emergency brake pulled. But I know that it is all the way down or off. I haven't changed any brake pads nor do they need changing just yet. A litle over 17,000 miles on her. I did change the back tires out about 500 miles ago, and went with a little taller tire, only because they were like new and were given to me. Will be putting new all around this spring. The light comes on when I brake hard also, but really bothers me when it comes on and I haven't even got on the brakes. Checked brake fluid and looks ok, pads look good. what am I missing? Could the taller tires be affecting it? Thanks for any suggestions, Johnny

Check your brake fluid level. When you are shifting if your fluid is low it could be causing the sensor to say you are low on fluid. ive seen that happen before.

Checked fluid level again, added a little, haven't been able to drive it yet, but believe that will fix it. Thanks a lot, hopefully that was the problem. Johnny
