Brake Light

Anyone else have problems with there brake turning on when you hit the brakes real hard. I gues it time to upgrade. Brake pads are fine. I dont know, I think I heard someone else with same problem thought maybe somone would know why. I have 03 gt with some bolt ons and 4:10 gears nothing though that would effect brakes I think.

It means you fluid is low.

Fluid level shows normal.

that light only comes on for low brake fluid or the e-brake is on. assuming the e-brake handle isnt magically pulling itself when you stand hard on the pedal, then your brake fluid is going low when you hit the pedal. check all your pads, not just the ones on the outside.

Mine did it once when i was flying over some rail road tracks and i slammed the brakes pretty good... everything is okay though, pads and all.

It happend to be before I left for Iraq. I checked fluid levels and and pads. It only happens when your driving prety fast and have to hit them ther brakes with some good force. I was in Germany driving on the Autoban so the speeds are a bit faster normal driving isl like 80 to 110MPh and thats still not like hallin sum buutt
