I’m running LMRs hard brake lines for disc brake conversion on my Fox and I ruptured a brake line by what looks like slamming it into the bump stop on the axle. Has anyone else experienced this? How can I fix this without removing the bump stops?

Yes, bend the brackets - more accurately twist them to change the angle slightly so the fitting and tube coming out will miss the bump stop. Also, the brake lines should be tighter up against the axle tubes. There is usually a hold down clip on each axle tube about midway along the axle tube (one mounts with the axle vent).

They were nice and tight against the axle tubes until the metal part of the bump stop bracket pushed them away from the axle.
It's weird that there is no mention of having to do these modifications on LMRs website or install video. All the parts I used were recommended for the install.
These lines were installed like this for ~3000 miles so I'm glad it happened when I was close to home! Got the brake light on the dash and I thought there was something wrong with my parking brake sensor but turns out I was losing fluid fast.
What do you guys think about just cutting off the metal part of the bump stop bracket? Seems like that piece isn't really doing anything and it's what is actually hitting the brake line.

It's your car, but I like to do it right once and done. All the parts to repair it are readily available.
The rubber part of the bump stop clears (barely), the metal part of the bracket sticks out about 1" closer to the brake line which is what sheared through my brake line. I could see witness marks on the metal.
I used 94-95 brake hoses. Which makes me wonder if those cars got a redesigned bump stop situation.
I wonder if they are just not routed properly.

That's about what mine looks like (or rather looked like) except I'm missing the little brackets that hold the brake line to the axle. I'll see if I can dig some up and put them on.
