I have to get new brake pads here soon on my 98. I don't really do any autox or anything like that, but I'm just wanting a good quality pad for a decent price. I've heard good things about Hawk HPS, but I would have to get SS lines if I went that route(which I don't want to do for the time being). I also heard good things about the Z-rated pads at autozone. Anybody have suggestions?

The Carbon Metallic pads from Performance Friction work great on the front of my car. They are a little less expensive than their Z-rated pads but when I was doing back to back 60-0 while testing my G-Tech, I noticed that these pads do bite harder when heat is introduced into the equation. Would recommend these to anyone whose car is street-driven.

I like my EBC greenstuff pads a lot, they stop really well, wear well, and have very low brake dust which is murder on my aluminum rims.

hawk all the way, stops great, no sounds, almost no brake dust and good price
