Brake pedal creaks?

I noticed a creaking sound when my brake pedal is pressed. I can hear the sound inside the car down in the pedal area, but it seems to be louder outside the car. This occurs when the car is in park when I press the pedal and while I am pumping the brakes. I'm not familiar with the braking system, are there springs anywhere that may be causing this annoying creaking sound?

The ABS light has just started turning on too, but I don't think it's related to the sound, it's been creaking for a few weeks.

As always, any help is greatly appreciated!

DON"T grease the calipers, The fact that your ABS light is on says something is wrong and you don't want to mess with something that important. My gut says you need to replace the pads and top up the brake fluid.

I agree, I really don't want to mess with something that important, I just want to understand the problem. I'll be taking a closer look at everything tomorrow. The brake fluid is at max...that was the first thing I checked. Thanks...
