Just happened so i need ideas quick. I was driving down the road went to stop from 45 mph and i push the brakes im slowing then i hear a pop and my pedal had really no pressure in it and i wasnt stopping fast enough and had to swerve. Then i got my pedal feeling back and started going again. when the neext light came the same thing happened. I pulled over and checked my master cylinder it was almost dry. Yesterday it was full. Crawled under the car no leaks anywhere. So i limped it home and parked it.. Any Ideas on what this can be? Cause im lost

I would fill the M/C back up and then pump the brakes and see if any leaks come up. Were the brakes making any noises? The only thing I can think of is if the pad was really low and then somehow popped out of the caliper. That would cause the fluid to drain into the lines even more. I would check your calipers and drums very carefully especially if you have no leaks. something is missing.

No leaks any where. The brakes are 2 months old new when i bought the car. I just dont understand the pop and then the shtty brake feeling. to stop it has to be all the way down and then some.Hope fully its a simple fix maybe a bade brake hose or something.

If you don't have /see any leaks but your MC is empty, the fluid is going somewhere. Check inside the drums (if you still have them) to see if the wheel cylinders are leaking.
