brake problems

im having some weird braking problems. if i press my brake pedal down slowly it wont have any pressure and will go all the way to the floor. if i press it kinda fast they will work great, and if i begin by pressing it down slowly then push it hard when i get it down quite a ways they will make pressure and work. what could it be? im thinkin the master cylinder? its not losing any fluid.

Probably brake master cylinder..

either the master cylinder or u can try to bleed the brake and see if it helps. good luck!

If you aren't loosing fluid, I would say the master cylinder. You could try to bleed the brakes. Is there any air bubbles in the master cylinder when you are pressing the brakes?
