Wondering what everyone thought about these brakes (i notice a lot of people have them) looks and performance wise.

10th Anniversary Cobra Brake Package
Rear Brake Bracket Kit
Special Edition Mustang Rear Calipers

OR should i swap the back to a black caliper (just for matching looks) and save up money for these
2000 Cobra 'R' Front Brake Kit

Also, will i need a new master cylinder for the cobra upgrade? what about the brembo's? Anyone think the extra stopping power from the brembo's would be worth an extra $600?

Thanks,
David

I have the 10th anniv cobra front/rear with the stock master cylinder. I wouldn't change a thing for a street car. Plenty of stopping, good wear, great pedal feel.

People complain about brake fade on the cobras when autocrossing or open track use and on the other hand if you are doing a TON of drag racing they are a heavy set-up...

Take it for what it is worth but for a street car I reccomend these.

All of those dual piston calipers are the same, they just changed the look/paint scheme. You could go with any of those really.

Another route, for less money is the 99+PBR conversion. Same rotor, (but it is only 11") However you get the benefit of having dual piston vs. single. They also are a lot lighter then the stock 94-98 caliper. They stop really good, I upgraded my fox body with these brakes. No changes to the booster, master or prop valve.
