I got all my stuff for my 5-lug swap off of a 1994 Mustang V6. I was thinking about going to the PBR calipers....is that all I need to buy or do I need to change things to get them to work? Thanks.
Thanks for the help guys. I think PBRs are the way to go. If you go to the parts store and tell them you need front and rear calipers for a 1999 Mustang will they give me PBRs? Thanks.
well... only the 99 gt and 99 cobra had front pbr's...the 99 v6 had single piston i believe (correct me if im wrong). and the rear calipers themselves are all the same... only difference in the rear are the pads (thinner pads for vented cobra rotors vs. gt solids) and caliper bracket (wider gap for cobra rotors)
Do the cobra/bullit/mach1 setup, it's nicer. I'm also pretty sure the disc is bigger for them.
There is one black set, with no lettering that usually goes pretty cheap on ebay.
V6/gt/cobra rear calipers are all the same, sort of.
just that the cobra is open a bit more so it will take vented rotors. You can actually clearance them with a good chop saw, to take the vented rotors.
