Brake tech 95 to 99 cobra set up on FOX mustang

hello again. i have had it again.

I just received my rear 00 cobra rear calipers for my car and i recently bought BAER 13" eradi speed plus one rotors.

But the kit that i bought came with 94-03 GT brackets. (which i think different from from cobra's)

so i went out and bought ford racing part# M-2300-M. which is 1994 to 2004 Mustang GT Rear Brakes Upgrade kit to 94-03 Cobra kit. will this kit work on fox body rear 5 lug conversion?

this is what it said:

Used to install Mustang Cobra, Mach 1, or Special Edition rear calipers on a 1994-03 Mustang GT

Kit includes production 11.65" rotors, caliper mounting brackets, moan braces, dust shields and dust shield bolts



so what i want to know is do i need this part to use cobra calipers? and 94-03 GT brackets will not work on cobra calipers?

I want to know if i have wasted my money or did i buy the right part>???

May be all i needed was the cobra caliper mounting bracket......

but i didn't have moan braces, dust shields and dust shield bolts anyways so it's good that i bought this kit???


please let me know. i need the help/i am confused. thanks fellas.

If I am not mistaken the cobra rotors are 11.65" not 13". Are you sure you didn't buy the front rotors by mistake because they would be 13". Look at http://svo73mm.cjb.net/ it explains it very nicely and also look at the North Racecars Link for the correct bracket. You might have it in that kit tough.

2) You will need SN-95 axles to use that hardware. Fox length axles won't work.

i have the sn95 axles and cobra brackets comes in a kit that i bought and 11.65" rotors are in a kit too. but i rather use 13" BAER disc in the back that's the reason why i am asking this questions. BAER rotors are upgrade from regular 11.65" cobra rear disc.

i found it at BAER.com

96SVTpilot was right, I just found it on another site. Should be a nice setup. Let us know what you end up doing, but the braket out of the kit should work. How much did you pay for the rotors and kit, where did you get it?

ford racing about 180...i think it's cheap and worth it.
