Has anyone used the brake upgrade package by Maximum Motorsports?

Brake upgrade?

I really need to upgrade my brakes. I'm trying to stay in a far price range, due to the fact I really don't use my brakes.

Do you want to stay 4-lug??

The thing with upgrading stock Fox brakes is that you are basically trying to polish a turd. They are terrible no matter what you do.

A rear disk conversion will help, but a good upgrade is to go 5-lug and run the 99-04 2-piston GT/V6 serup or a 13" front brake setup.

I don't plan on staying 4-Lug. I'm looking to change over to 5-Lug next spring.

I'm just looking for something better than the stock set up I have now.

Save your money and put it towards the 5-lug.

Eh. You're right. As much as I hate to admit it. Thanks

I used the kit on my GT, it was alot better then the stock worn out brakes I had. I thought it was a great improvement. However now if I drive the Mach 1 and then hop in the GT it seems like it won't stop for crap.

I was thinking about upgrading to something similar. I don't really see a need for 5 lug at this point, nor do I have the money, but it would be nice to be able to stop a little better.
